    1. Install Google Sitemap
    2. Put your link on some high PR website (higer the PR faster your site is going to get indexed)

Well, thats a cool trick but where to post those links. Here is the answer

There are many social bookmarking sites such as
    digg.com, del.icio.us, reddit.com, stumbleupon, and many more

Just submit your new pages to them and what I have experienced that Google indexes the pages you submitted within the next 2 days usually although there can be cases when it takes more time

    Koalatree,

All those high Pr links and social bookmarking is not a long term solution. Do you expect to do this exercise for every post? I guess not.

Lets see what you can do to ensure your pages gets indexed within 12-24 hrs.

    1) Get yourself a RSS feed (if you already have then fine)
    2) Submit sitemap to Google Sitemaps
    3) Auto-ping Google Blog search engine whenever you post. You can use Pingoat for that.
    4) Update your site everyday. Google loves sites which are updated regularly which in turn tells google bot to come back to your site often.

This will ensure that google crawls your site almost everyday.

    Good luck!

Add META tags (Keywords, Titles, In depth Descriptions)
Some say META tags are dead, I say completely otherwise!

If your site is new >>> google.com/addurl/

But if your site is already in the index just complete the META tags part, really all you can do besides getting sites to link to your content.

Meta tag has nothing to do with indexing. I agree meta keywords still hold some relevance in rankings but indexing has no no relation with meta keywords.

Eh, sure it may have nothing to do with indexing. But atleast you have control of your listing and it doesn't look like.

I think the fastest way is to setup a sitemap. Next, just wait for google to crawl your site.

I do have a sitemap for my own forum but still I don't update the sitemap every day. I made a thread on my own forum yesterday and just in 8 hours the post is indexed in google.

    http://www.google.com/search?q=appraise+lawrencia.com

I think the site if it is updated regularly with fresh content also helps a lot in getting pages indexed faster.

    Nick,

there is no need to to update sitemap everyday :D Sitemap is a structured way to tell google bot where and how to find information on your site. That helps google bot to index your pages faster since its all defined in the sitemap as where to look.

When i post articles, they get it to google within 10 mins:D yes. u heard it right. Google bot reads your pages lot faster than you think. If you have feedburner then it really helps.

He asked about indexing not about how his site looked....

If you have a blog, you can ping technorati and other blog services....

what i also notice is that google search results sometimes dont match the site:sitename.

also, in the webmaster tools section, it shows that one of my site was last crawled on the 23rd, however, i am seeing google search results of new content that was added on the 29th, yesterday!

The best way is to write new sitemaps and add them to Google Webmaster services. But, if there are links to new posts from main page or pages with good PR, then they'll be indexed fast.

Sitemaps were a big buzzword back in 2005 but any real SEO knows they're just a waste of time. If you don't believe me, just keep doing what you're doing. I don't need the competition anyway..
