    Hello,

Before I start I would like to thank all contributing members of this forum for teaching me a lot. I have done a lot of reading here on SEO I have improved my skills.

    BUT...

I still have a problem. I have a larger e-commerce site (in my opinion) with about 3000 different products. The site is built in HTML, title tags, meta all completed for each product etc. The site has been live for about 1.5 years and still Google has not cached thousands of my individual product pages.

Even the ones that have been cached only get a new cache every 30-90 days. The only way I have found to get the pages cached are by putting them on the homepage but this is simply not practical to do for so many products.

What can I do so these important pages are found, cached and eventually get some PR therefore resulting in more Google visits?

    Thanks in advance.

do you have an xml site map, and have you submitted it to google and yahoo?
you should also have an html site map on your site.

and do your pages have backlinks? getting deep backlinks to your product pages themselves will help a lot.

    Thank you for the response.

Yes, I have a site map. I have submitted to Google and Yahoo.

I think you probably hit the nail on the head with deep backlinks because I have none. I have some PR 4 sites pointing into my homepage but from what I could see most places that allow you to link (free or paid) only want you linking to your homepage. Any suggestions for sites that allow deep backlinks?

    Thanks Again.
