Daily Site Query for Google?

I was wondering if anyone knew about a service or tool that provides site queries (site:www.sitename.com) for Google and possibly other search engines? I am looking for the number of indexed pages across various sites that I am working on. Obviously, site queries are easy to do manually, but I may want to opt for daily tracking across the three search engines to see any fluctuations that may occur.

Not any that I know of. I'm sure there are some paid tools that will show you this information, I'm sure someone must know.

I personally don't think it's something that you need to keep track of so obsessively. It should be sufficient to periodically check the number of indexed pages every few weeks or so. If your site linking structure is good, the search engines will have no problem indexing all or most of your pages.

What can you really do if one day your number of indexed pages doesn't seem right?
