hi i m new to this domain industry and i m quite confused with these fake ranks. i know what does it means but don't know how to differentiate fake and real page rank. also is there any benefit in fake ranks and how can some one increase fake rank of his domain. i wanna to know all although i don't belief in any fake things but knowledge always gives you something and never goes waste. i will appreciate it if anyone can help me. regards
With fake page rank, the page rank is just that- fake. The domain has the PR of another site, because it redirects to it. A search in Google for the cached version will give you a snapshot of the site to which it redirects, rather than the real site.
I'm sure I read somewhere that the only website that can have a PR of 10 is Google itself! That could just be an urban myth though!
