Daily Earnings Swinging Wildly

I have an arcade site, that on average has been earnings $4 a day with Adsense. Throughout november though, my earnings have been swinging from under $1 one day, to $5 the next. The ads I view are almost always the same everyday, so it is not like they are changing constantly.

Any idea why this is happening?

 

You have to understand everybody does not login to the internet everyday to look for the same niches everyday. That is why.

 

How about the traffic?

 

Yes I know that. The fact was that it has been a stable $4 a day for over 8 months, and all of a sudden for this month it has become unstable.

Richie : The traffic is 500 uniques a day, and has stayed from the same sources, mainly Google, Yahoo, people emailing each other etc.

 

Have 1000 traffic a day or more but only $1-2 a day here Techie niche sux

 

I think it's very normal to see the scenario. It could be very high on one day and drop to ultra low the next day. It's part of Adsense

 

i dont think it's just about traffic, it's about SE's visitors too, if u gets more, CTR gets higher, etc..etc

 

yea, it happens all the time..i do get something like that atimes and someday, you get no dollar

 

$4 a day for 500 uniques is prety low. May be that is the norm in your niche. November is little unstable. AdWords advertisers are very cautious due to the turmoil in the financial market

 

It depends on the ads. Some are worth more.
