Payment Method

The website uses PayPal’s Authorize and Capture (buyers’ credit cards are authorized and if enough people have purchased the deal at the end of the day, you capture the authorized amount. If not enough people sign up the authorization is voided). This process is completed in your PayPal account.

Newsletter

Users can sign up for the newsletter on the site and a list of all subscribers and their emails are available in the admin control panel. However, the newsletter needs to be mailed using an email system such as Mailchimp or constant contact. These third-party email systems offer much more functionality than can be built into the website.
Revenue Details

The site currently does not generate revenue, but is being sold as a turn key solution to launch a group-buying business. Given the other sites that Groupon has recently acquired, and the margins of 25-50% on the deals, this site could be very lucrative.
