Daily Database backup

    there is anyway in cpanel so i can get my daily database backup in email or something

    Typically database backups are too large to send via email.

    Surely just quicker to download to your desktop straight from cPanel? unless you have a load of db's to backup each day.

    just use a script to automatically backup to your server in pass protected rar file

    I could propose an open source tool that could do a daily backup. If you have a mysql database, you need to get Talend open studio. When you have set up the connection between mysql and your computer, you are able to reopen it the next day and run the program to extract directly the data from your mysql database.

    You might even be able to automate the tasks with open studio (I am not sure about that).
