Hi Guys, I've just discovered the tool which allows you to bid different percentages of your default bid on different days. Does anyone use this or know what it can be used to achieve? So far, I've used it to bid more on days that I historically convert better on, and less on the days I convert worse. Any advise is appreciated. Also, Some days my campaign will spend it's entire budget by the afternoon, and other days not at all. Typically, overspending at weekends. Although on some of my campaigns, i overspend Monday & Friday and underspend Tue, Wed Thurs. Is there anything I can do to balance this?
Ad scheduling is common practice. Try eliminating non converting hours of the day, especially if your budget is being spend by noon. You can also try setting the budget to spend over time vs spending as fast as possible. These setting are under the campaign settings menu on the web. % based increased bidding is not so common practice but it can be useful to target prime time hours when you know conversions are at its best.
