    Hello,

when i manually check cache or get other info from google many times in a row, i get a message from google with a captcha saying that they think i may be a program trying to access them too much.
I usually get banned for a day and its back to normal the next day. I know u can use a proxy to get around this, but my question is:
if you get these daily bans very often, is there a chance google will ban your IP altogether? (from cache checking-not search)

btw, im not trying to do anything harmful---i just have a ton of pages to check the cache on!:D

They won't ban a single IP address considering many ISPs still use dynamic IP addresses even with highspeed internet accounts, however they probably might make the C class more likely to get this penalty.

I faced such a situation (not using proxy) but my normal ADSL a couple of months back, but it seemed normal now. I guess it may be due to Google doing some tests again.
