Daily Balance Update Rate

I'm new to YPN (just REALLY started using it yesterday).

I've been checking my stats for today (2/9), but it says: "Estimated as of Feb 9, 2006 at 7:00 AM PST" and my earnings obviously haven't changed since then.

It seemed like yesterday it was updating every 3-5 hours...

Does this mean that I don't have any more revenue to show since then, or is it just a slow refresh rate?

In most cases, YPN revenue updates are about 30 minutes behind in realtime for daily balance.

So does that mean I'm not getting any revenue?

I guess another way to phrase it is: Will they update the "Estimated as of..." string even if I'm not receiving clicks?

Most likely no. Meaning, that you probably haven't given it any reason to update. I might be wrong, just stating my own experience.

Yes you are correct in that until it sees more clicks it stays at the last time of update. It really can be frustrating to see nothing change for a few hours and then you can see it change every fifteen minutes. It is all based on activity.

No update = no clicks = no new income + crummy CTR!!!

I don't think that's true always. My estimated balance doesn't update for a few hours, then I'll look and find I've earned 5 more dollars. I find it hard to believe that all those clicks occurred within the 10 minutes since I last checked and saw that it hadn't been updated for 4 hours.

I asked this of the Yahoo rep and they said that they do not have a specified time for any updates. According to them you may be receiving clicks, but their system may not update for several hours or even not until the end of the night. I know that I find this frustrating as well and asked if they were going to implement a system similar to Google to make updates at a set standard even if there are no clicks and he said they are working on this and hope to have it done within the next month or two at most. I know that most of us would at least like up to date information on our sites to better determine what we need to change. Yahoo seems to get better though every day and I am sure they will make this work eventually in a more precise manner.
