D-Link has launched its latest Wireless G Router, the DIR-300. This entry-level router for SOHO users lets you share a broadband Internet connection with multiple computers by simply connecting it to a cable or DSL modem.

The router includes stateful Packet Inspection as well as firewall functions to safeguard your network from harmful attacks. One of the key features of DIR-300 is its scheduling parental control which helps parents to have more flexible control over when kids access the Internet.

DIR-300 is based on the 802.11g standard and is backward compatible with 802.11b. Wireless encryptions such as WEP, WPA and WPA2 are supported. The retail package includes a quick router setup wizard utility to help users set up the unit for their networks and over the Internet.

The DIR-300 is available at an approximate street price of Rs 2625.
