Hi Well i got the names and i have heard how ppl dont like it so i read up a bit more about it and just dont get why. We live in a free market here is a link to a blog about it on http://blog.domaintools.com/2007/04/domainers-are-not-cybersquatters/ here is the comment i posted
Saddly cybersquatting is such a common practice that makes people forget the role of true domainers. Nice blogging
Some like it, some don't. Big deal. Let people think whatever they want. The only time you can take notice is if one somehow forces the issue on you.
Well if some people do want to think that buying a domain name in hope for selling it for more is squatting then it is not true. Because there is also a community called webmasters. Who will have to buy a domain. Make a website on it. And earn revenue or maybe sell it off later to make some profits. If the good domains are being taken fast and the webmaster has his own plans for some domain name then can't he register it for the future projects.
So lets say there is acompany called dog treat and its trademarked. if i went abd bought dogtreatinfo.com or anything dogtreat related is that illegal? Even if i create a site with content and info that pertiains to dog treat? Thanks
i currently have an actors famous character domain name on my hands.. hopefully i wont get hit with this
