Hopefully this isn't the wrong forum. I'm not selling just looking for some advice. That said, if you have an offer feel free to PM me. I’m considering selling my directory (www.cyberbilt.com) and seek your thoughts on the value. I have put hundreds of hours into Cyberbilt but I no longer have the time or money to realize its full potential. My hopes are that you all can help me determine a fair value. Cyberbilt stats are as follows: Traffic: Nov Uniques:3833 Dec Uniques:3391 Jan Uniques:1958 Backlinks: Google: 269 MSN: 2565 Yahoo: 10,817 Pages Indexed: Google: 2050 MSN: 341 Yahoo: 10817 PR Depends on where you get the information. My toolbar shows a 4. Iwebtool.com says it’s a three and "live Pagerank" is somewhere between a 3 and a 4. I don’t want to mislead anyone so let’s just say it’s a three…dying to be a 4 (or even a 5). The domain Cyberbilt.com was purchased in Oct 2004 and became a directory in June 2006. It would be part of the deal and is registered at GoDaddy Revenue 2006 (Total): $184.00 – Sponsored links and featured listings. 2007: $32.00 – All from regular paid listings. There’s money to be made. I’m on track to make $50+ this month and that’s with little effort. Lots of potential!! Alexa (for what its worth) Rank: 91751 Rank Today: 61258 – I’ve included this only because Cyberbilt has been on an upward swing over the past week or so. Script & Design Cyberbilt is currently running Phpld 3.0.6 and the design is very custom. Although most of the features are fairly standard the “template†is very original and will stand out in the crowd… Why I’m selling I could say that I need money for another project but that would be a lie. I simply don’t have the time or money to really make this directory a success. My hopes are that someone else does. I’ve decided to continue on in school (to get my masters) and just don’t have the energy to make Cyberbilt a “winnerâ€. All comments welcome…thanks!
I think given the low traffic (maybe 150 uniques per day), average PR, modest number of backlinks and past earnings it's only worth somewhere between $50-$75. That's just my opinion - let's see what the others think.
Thanks for the feedback. I was using this thread as a point of reference. Pr is a tick higher and alexa is lower but most everything else is inline. Seems like a big difference between $2500 and $200. Not to say that I don't appreciate your thougths...cuz I do. Just curiouis as to the difference.
