.cv TLD for international domain?

    Hey guys,

    I'm thinking about buying a .cv domain for a new international website.

    However, .cv is a Portuguese TLD, so would it be bad for me in Google?

    If I have enough quality content, links etc. Could I come in at top positions if a person from e.g. England searches for it?

    It's not for affilliate-marketing. Just a little online business.

    never heard about this TLD before, I think it is good for online portfolio/curriculum vitae website :D
