I guess all the pros here know this, but newbies like me might be interested this post that shows how to display your site's mini-logo (which gopalraju informs me is called a favicon) in a visitor's browser address bar and bookmarks.

    Bottom line on top:
    1. Make a 16x16 .ico file of your logo and call it favicon.ico
    2. Upload it to your web server in such a way that the URL of the file is http://<<my-domain-name.com>>/favicon.ico
