I place a google search box on all of my pages, but the number of adsense clicks generated is very small. Is anyone having real success with adsense and searching? Do you customize the search pages? Have you uploaded a logo for the search box? Do you include the website search option and does that help? Do you consider it just a customer service? Any thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated.
I've had no luck generating revenue with Google search on my sites. Link Units convert so much better even though they also require a second click. You can put Google website search (searches your website) to help visitors & keep them on your site (more page views) but don't expect revenues from it. Very few of my visitors use my search box & I get better clicks by putting Adsense beside a vertical site index.
