I'm setting up a PayPal form on a certain website to accept PayPal payments. As I do that, I'd like to set up the form in such a way that it looks like a part of the website, i.e., ideally I don't want to just redirect customers to PayPal website. How do I go about this? Also can I customize 'Thank You' page 'Thank You -> Redirect' page, etc.?
Hi, I am not sure about the form that the customer actually makes a payment on - in fact, I would not want to change it if I could. People are used to seeing the familiar PP form where you actually submit money. However, the landing page after the sale can be any url you like. You will see the place to do that when making your PP Button. Be sure to check "Add More Options" at the bottom. Jim ><>
This is the first time I'm doing this, so I'm a bit lost. Would you be kind to elaborate on this? Let's say that I created a PayPal business account already. From there, what do I do ...?
Sure, Login to PP Click on Merchant Services (at the top) Click on the "Buy Now Button" (near the top) Fill in the short "Form" Chose your button style Since you are new I think you probably want to pick "Encrypted" Shipping and Tax options are your choice Click "Add More Options" Pick "Customize your payment pages" if this is what you want to do Pick: "Successful Payment URL" This is where you put your redirect url for a custom landing page after payment. The other questions are explained or are subject to your product. Jim ><>
