    Hi All,

Today i was searching some keywords in Google, and found that someone is using customized diplay URL for showing their ads in Google.
    For Ex.
    ABC Sports Shop
    buy football, cricket kit
    @ sports shop
    visit: www.domainname.com

I tried alot but, Google is not accepting my customized display URL this way.
    If anyone know please tell.

I have screenshot too! if anyone wants please P.M. me.

    Best Thanks
    :)

The display and destination URLs need to be on the same domain as I understand it.

    yes i agree..
Suppose there is a website called
    www.abcdummy.com, dealing with computers

So, in Adwords creative i will write like:
    cheap, secure computers
    compare prices now
    www.abcdummy.com - Display URL

but the ad. which i saw it's display url is like:
    cheap, secure computers
    compare prices now
    visit: www.abcdummy.com - Display URL

howz that? I tried the same but, Google is not accepting.

    Thanks

    BuG .... what a joke!
    1) one is using visit in display URL and
    2) Other is using phone no. (name) in display URL.

It can't be a Bug.. something serious... if it is not allowed then how they are using these....

The url has to be functional otherwise Google will not accept it. The only way that I can think of therefore would be to create a subdomain like this:

    Visit.MyDomain.com

The subdomain can just point to the home page as long as it does not result in an error when typed in.

Google is constantly experimenting with formats, most of which never end up being used - but someone of us might come across the experiment and be puzzled by it.

I wouldn't worry about it - the word visit is redundant and is unlikely to be used. The phone number would require a pay-per-call function, easily bypassed by just calling the number - it might end up being used with a phone symbol rather than the actual number.

Nope.... here i m using print screen from Google.

It is not a sub domain.
And if Google is experimenting then why not accepting mine.

    Thanks_

The destination url doesnt need to be exactly the display url, i just set a campaign and i put a site url from the campaign im running, and then the display has my affliate code in it. They are not the same urls.
