Customer Web Interface Problem

Discussion in 'Optigold ISP' started by comnett, Sep 10, 2006.

I'm trying to get the web interface running and have run into a problem.

When I access "View Emails", the web interface does not list the customers emails. The "Additional Emails Allowed" count is correct. I can add emails though the web interface. It just won't list them.

    Any Suggestions?

What version of Optigold ISP are you using, and are you using the default web files?

If you look at your Web Security.fp5 file, how many records are in it? Have you changed your web security files at ALL?

Also, are you logged in as your web server "employee"?

Well, I got frustrated and re-installed everything, and it works now.

But I suspect my problem was in the Web Security.fp5 file.

The first time around, nothing would work after I first installed the web server. The Web Security.fp5 file was nothing like what was described in the "Web Security Note" in the Mainmenu window. So, I deleted everything from Web_security.fp5 and re-entered it as described in "Web Security Note". Then everything worked EXCEPT the email list.

After re-installing, the Web_security.fp5 file has 10 records. The mainmenu.fp5 entry has 120+ fields listed, including the ones mentioned in "Web Security Note", and everything seems to be working fine.

Here's the question. "Web Security Note" says ther should be only 2 records ( the way I read it ). And only 7 fields in the mainmenu.fp5 database record. Am I reading that right, or am I totally missing the point of the note?
