    Hi all again!
Has anybody ever experienced a customer who wish to pay via chat? (Messenger, messages, Line, Whatapp, WeChat...etc)

How would you make this payment process possible?
Any opinions on how you'd deal with this, has anybody ever had this experience (merchant or client side)?

    Thanks all!

My bank lets me pay someone via their mobile number, email or their trademe (our version of ebay) account

@we8m457eR it could be that this client has something funky available through their bank. Just say no, be polite but firm.

Yup, just tell the customer you only have certain payment options available but chat isn't one of them. I don't think payment through chat will be possible anyway.

I'm answering this very late... sorry...
Thanks for your replies. @sarahk, it's cool to see that your bank allows payments via mobile!
It's all in the making, but there just seem to be too many payment options (eWallets) out there and every one of them seem to be having trouble becoming trusted/popular...
Thanks again to all for the info

I don't think it's safe. You don't have information about who you pay, about what you paid for.
