The example site you showed has its sidebar in a problem in IE 6. It has been pushed down below the post. Though it shows properly in Firefox.
But a designer should consider a variety of browsers which the viewers use. IE6 may be outdated (IS It? I still use it ).. but can you guarantee that even 10% of visitors don't use IE6?
