I've seen a few websites pop up that prompt users to "Like" a YouTube video before they can watch it. I liked the idea but most of the sites designs or system itself wasn't top notch. I decided to develop my own. My system prompts users to Like, Google +1 or Tweet before they can view the YouTube video. Users can shorten their YouTube links instantly from the homepage without an account. Please give me any/all feedback! http://vidpush.com
Thanks! The vidpush link gets the Like, Google +1 and Tweet. I feel if the it went anywhere else the viral chain would stop. If it was set up to like say the YouTube video itself, whenever someone clicked on the Liked video link it would take them to YouTube and they would not have to share before viewing.
Meh, sharing a video without seeing it could be disastrous for the viewer. Framing the video and encouraging great content to be shared is awesome but crap content, no thanks.
I don't like the idea for YouTube videos for the two reasons. 1. They are viewable from YouTube without being forced to share them. 2. I wouldn't want to share something I had not watched first. Maybe this script would be of better use in other areas not involving videos. But that's just my opinion.
