Custom site design and programming, looking for some input!

I've thrown together a site, Biased News, for which, I've done all the design and coding custom. The idea behind the site is open source news, where users contribute their own bias in news stories written by themselves. I'm looking for some input on the layout/ease of use of the site. Any help is much appreciated!

I like the idea for the site and the overall layout. I would definitely redesign the logo though. You have space to make it bigger. It looks cramped up against the edge of the page.

    Good Luck

Thanks for the input.. I think I will try and figure out a way to extend the logo into the white space at the top of the page. The inspiration behind the logo is the Fox News logo, and the site design is loosely based on the cnn.com website. A little bit of irony in the site design to complement the concept of the site. Thanks again for taking a look!
