Custom Proxy! Beautiful Design! High CTR!

Hey guys,

Well, I am sorry to say I have to sell my baby. I am struggling with paying for my car payments and need to make some other personal ends meet. I am selling this site with the .psd (custom) and css/xhtml coding (custom done also). I am not sure if I can show the CTR, but here is a screenshot. I mainly sent some bulletins out from my own accounts and have some links put up.

Remember, custom .psd - this alone cost me 75 dollars.

How come the ProxyTower toolbar doesn't show up on the top of every page proxied, only some?

 

Some sites block it, others don't. I will look into it though.

 

Oh, but i'm talking like some not very professional websites, doubt they're blocking proxy tools.

Found some interesting things with a few minutes of research.

The site is only a week old, at least domain is. He is probably blocking the impressions figures for a reason, he is more then likely clicking his own ads, and impression count is low. Google allows you to post the impression coutns, they don't allow you to post the click count or CTR.

I'd stick away from this sale.

 

Not hard to figure out impressions with CTR.

I am not clicking my own ads, and I will post impressions to. Site is new yes I realize that. Why don't you ask me a question before you flame my thread.

on the 14th the impressions would have been about 800, it isn't hard to work out when you have the other two bits of data.

And I could be wrong but if he was clicking he's own that many times google wouldn't have counted them unless he is changing he's ip every time and not logging in from he's own computer.

Like I said I could be wrong.

Sell your baby? You only have 2 days revenue? How many uniques per day does the site receive?

 

That's not showing stats for a specific channel or website's revenue, that's for your whole account. Create a channel then show us some stats, please.

his baby is a newborn, domain was registered October 7th.

He has 2 days of stats.

on 13th he had 750 impressions and 40 clicks, on the 14th he had 1047 impressions with 81 clicks.

I could understand possibly well placed ads on a highly unique content site, generating that many clicks from so few impressions, but on a proxy site? With just one ad unit on home page, I am almost entirely certain this is a scam.

I operated adn am operating several sites, even with good marketing, and highly targeted traffic from lets say proxy.org, where 100% of his visitors are looking for a proxy, I am 100% certain he woudl nto get such a high CTR.

He said he advertised by spamming myspace, this is first of all morally/ethically wrong, but most importantly he is advertising to a general audience. most people comign to the site would leave right away. This is a scam, do not buy from this person.

I am sick of being called a scammer. I need to sell this site though. Do you realize how long it would take me to change my IP 100 times and click my own ads? Look at my ads, they are placed in good positions and relate to my myspace crowd. Btw, I never recalled myself saying myspace spamming. So, stop putting words in my mouth.
