Custom Google Toolbar

    I don't know how many of you know about the existance of custom Google Toolbar buttons.

    You just have to add yours to the gallery, and in about one week, you will be accepted.

    Now don't get over excited about having a link in Google, because all the links from the gallery (like this one for example), have rel=nofollow's , and moreover, all the gallery pages have PR0.

    You will have the benefit of putting a small banner in your website, to invite users to add your logo to the Google toolbar, in the form of :

    You can notice this live (and even test it) at a friend's website (Romanian search engine and directory) at WebIndex . Notice the footer.

    Interesting, but it looks a little like simplified Google bookmarks... Downloaded the new beta version of the toolbar btw. One of the new features is voting for a website (or I just didn't notice it before). You can give a website a good or a bad vote and send it to Google. I don't think Google will do a lot with it though...

    edit: just realized it is an old feature...
