Does the custom domain in blogger make me loose traffic? Did anyone try it?

This is what blogger says? But what about my PR? Will I loose it?

You will have to re-build that again! Anyways, reasons of having your own domain is far better than PR

You visitors will be redirected to your custom domain automatically, so go ahead with your customized domain.

Sooner you make the change the better. The problem isn't going to get any better. If you do proper redirects the engines will know where the pages went anyways so go for it.
