Custom Domain for blogspot

    Hi,
    i have blog (www.softalerts.blogspot.com) now i want to purchase a domain (.com) and transfer my that blog on to new domain, is it possible, and have i change my theme for that purpose?

    you don't have to if you don't want, it just change the name from blogspot.com to something with ended .com.
    but usually when you purchase domain it's include hosting too..... CMIIW.. :D

    No problem you can do this and all traffic will redirected on your new domain.
    I try on my old blog that was culturabit.blogspot.com now is bioltus.com and everything is the same!
    Nice thing the own domain, seems like something mine ahahah my son maybe!

    I don't think purchasing a domain includes hosting too. I thought you have to fork out the extra $ for the hosting?

    you can choose not to avail hosting to where you register..you just register THRU and get a hosting somewhere else.
