Custom Dimensions in GA not showing up

    Hello,

    I am testing a new site and I am trying to get a custom dimension showing up for page views. Yet even though GA has recorded the pageviews there is no custom dimension data. Am I missing something? (Not Pro, Test Analytics Setup shows all green checks, user-id tracking is enabled).

    I am looking to see Registered User.

    I have a custom report where Metric Group is Pageviews, Dimension is User with no filters on all my views. Nothing shows up.

    What am I missing? What can I check?

    Thank you,
    Edward

    Hard to say without being able to see your custom report... But in Google Analytics, I just went to Behavior -> Site Content -> All Pages, then set the "Secondary dimension" to "User" and it seems to be working (it's just the user ID for logged in WordPress users is all).

    If you try that do you see anything?

    Also, make sure you are doing it for the current date if you just installed the addon.

    Thanks for that, but I still do not see anything. Does it ignore certain users? I really do not want it to do so.

    One more thing. I did check the JSON, it looks correct... (sanitized to protect the innocent)

    <meta id='ba_s' data-o="{&quot;tid&quot;:&quot;UA-XXXXXXX-Y&quot;,&quot;et&quot;:15,&quot;co&quot;:{&quot;userId&quot;:1},&quot;g&quot;:ZZZZZZ,&quot;dl&quot;:&quot;\\.avi|\\.dmg|\\.doc|\\.exe|\\.gz|\\.mpg|\\.mp3|\\.pdf|\\.ppt|\\.psd|\\.rar|\\.wmv|\\.xls|\\.zip&quot;,&quot;s&quot;:38,&quot;a&quot;:0,&quot;d&quot;:{&quot;c&quot;:[1,&quot;Categories&quot;],&quot;a&quot;:[2,&quot;AM&quot;],&quot;t&quot;:[3,&quot;keywords&quot;],&quot;y&quot;:[4,2016],&quot;r&quot;:[5,&quot;add&quot;],&quot;u&quot;:[6,1]}}" />

    So I am a bit confused why nothing shows up. I do not even think it is getting the actual bits. :(

    It is working now, or at least I found that it looks to be working... I think there is a 'url' to site mixmatch for my development site. Is there a way to correct? I.e. site is foo.bar.com and dev is dev.foo.com.

    Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing that says there's a mismatch? Not sure there...
