Selling Custom Developed Viral YouTube Video & Short Link Site

This is a custom developed website I created at the end of last year. It allows users to shorten YouTube video links to in return get a link to where a viewer must Like, Tweet or +1 the video before viewing. When a video is viewed, two related videos are shown to the right side and also added to the database. I also have a cron process that runs daily checking for new mainstream music videos being released on YouTube. The website completely runs itself and at this point over 85% of traffic is organic. VidPush also has 30,231 pages and 28,231 videos indexed in Google right now. This could be increased by a ton. The last time I was able to successfully create a sitemap for the site was in December! I try using xml-sitemaps but it never finishes. Currently has over 807,000 videos and grows about 1000 or more a day my guess is.

Purchase includes website, domain, registered xml-sitemaps.com sitemap generator with video sitemap add-on.

I am not sure what it makes revenue wise, I use my ads on multiple websites and my dashboard does not let me make individual ads to track per site or per ad placement revenue.

does the videos use bandwidth and space ? do i need vps to run the sie ??

 

@CorporateGiant sorry, there really is no way for me to guess an income on the site. I have the same ad blocks on over 14 websites. I also earn by cpm not cpc like Adsense.

@ask2talk all videos are hosted on YouTube, not much bandwidth used. The site is pretty light.

 

when i link a video, and the video shows up on my page, i cannot watch the video... you need to go to youtube to watch it.
and when you google + a video, you can un+ it... kinda useless..

for the rest i like the idea, if you can work around some issue's i might really be interested in doing BIN.

 

@fengwu83 not sure what you mean by you having to go to YouTube to watch the video. The only time I have had an issue close to that is if the video that has been embedded has embedding disabled. Of course you could always delete the Tweet, unlike or un +1 the video but there is nothing to do to avoid this. This just influences sharing, currently it is even set so if you do not share the pop-up window will close after 25 seconds. This time can be adjusted or the automatic close can be disabled completely to force sharing every time.

Interesting site - I don't see any ads on it though, unless I'm blind? Were the ads removed for the sale?

 

There is one 728x90 on the homepage and two on each video page. The ads are live right now, not sure why you do not see them.

 

Ah, switched to Safari and was able to see it...guess something in Chrome was blocking it. What do you use for the ads? Did you notice a difference when you added this site in to the ad mix? Just trying to gauge whether it makes anything/month.

 

I use a couple ad companies and serve them through my own system. I have websites that earn up to a few hundred a day running through the companies so there is no way for me to tell really.
