    Hello everyone,

I've recently setup my new football forum which can be found at http://www.championshipforum.com

The site is based on the championship which is English footballs 2nd tier, yet still one of the most highest supported leagues in Europe.

There is a few articles I wrote last week and not really any forum activity at the moment but any feedback and comments would be great. :)

Thumbs up to the design. It's kind of difficult to read the main-text from the logo, don't you think? Maybe you should have used a space between "Championship" and "Forum".

Personally I love the look of the forums. They look very welcoming and definately very proffesional looking. I have been looking to start my own football forums for a while but not really sure how to go about it.

The bad news is i'm not 100% sure why you decided to limit it to the championship? My favourite English team is Sheffield Wed, but what if they get relegated this season then my desire to post in your forums would probably go. Championship teams come and go. I don't think there is a call for each club to have their own forum.

I'm Scottish but probably wouldnt start a forum to talk about Scottish Football only.

I think there is a market for a really good looking well run General football forum. Not to many boards just limiited to 8-12 to begin with. Untill it takes off and gets busy, something that can work well with social media?

These are my thoughts only, Great looking site though

    Thanks for the comments.

I think I may make some sub leagues with league 1, 2 and epl but keep the main focus on the championship.

I can then just move the forums to the other league if a team gets relegated or promoted and still keep all the forum content.

Seems like you put a lot of thought into it. I wish you all the best. I would say perhaps a press release, some social media accounts and becoming a member on related forums will do a lot for your project. I wish you all the best.

good theme, should have a better logo.

the best way to startup a forum is to have a REASON for people to come there , again and again.

make up some unique content like wordpress themes, wallpapers , screensavers, spread them over the net and offer them to download, it will start to get some traffic.

Your color scheme is not good at all. However, design, structure and all other things are okay.

I appreciate your feedback, how do you think this could be improved?

But if you own them websites in your signature space I assume colour schemes aren't your strong point either.
