Custom Chart newbie needs help

Hi there ... I've been tracking keywords w/this wonderful site for almost a year now. A few days ago I added a number of new keyphrases and competitor URLs to track the results of renewed SEO efforts.

I've created 3 different custom charts to help me visualize this but none of them are working. Please let me know what I'm doing wrong. Here's what I put in and what the charts are showing:

    1. Same keyphrase for 7 different URLs (including mine), Google only.
Chart shows: A single horizontal line going across the chart at "8.1" (which I guess is the Google position), with a single URL in a yellow box -- one of the URLs in the chart, not mine.
Shouldn't this show 7 different lines, or at least however many are in the top 40 positions (my limit in my User Prefs)? When I type the keyphrase in Google, most of us are in the top 30; I'm at #1 (currently).

    2. Same keyphrase (diff. than #1) for 12 URLs, Google only.
Chart shows: Nothing. Date range is right but no lines are on the chart. I know that most of these URLs are in the top 40.

    3. Third keyphrase for 6 URLs, Google, Yahoo and MSN. (18 entries).
Chart shows: One jagged line for apparently a completely different URL (yellow box shows a casino type site, not my field) starting in 2003 and ending in July 2004, but chart extends to 3/17/04 (even though it's now a week later). Bizarre.

The regular keyword tracker is reporting back apparently correct results for all these URLs. Just not sure what I'm doing wrong with the charts.

    Thanks

Can you attach a screenshot of the chart you think is wrong as well as the screen where you define your chart?

    Sure, Shawn.

Actually I think I've got #1 and #2 figured out. I had just added the keywords so there were no lines to be seen. When I updated all just now, that added a couple days to the chart and I'm beginning to see some lines.

But #3 is still a puzzlement. It's like some old keywords for a casino site have been mixed up with my results. I don't know if it's a google problem or a DP problem or...?

Below is a partial screen shot of the chart definition ... shows 3 of the 6 URLs so you get the idea. [I'm not sure how to "attach a screenshot" to a forum message here, hope this works.]

And here is the chart I get.

I'm assuming I'll have to delete, one by one, each of the 18 entries (6 URLs for Google, Yahoo and MSN), then test to see where the problem child is by adding them back in, one by one, and generating a chart each time. Sigh.

Just to reiterate, I added these keywords and URLs on 3/24/05. I don't know why the chart shows a date starting in 2003.

I did some poking, and it looks like you have 2 invalid chart line items on the chart for whatever reason (you can delete them individually if you want), but I changed the backend to check for something like that.
