Custom built Unique Search Engine - For Sale !

I am selling one of the most unique custom built websites here on Digitalpoint.

I had this website custom built from scratch, there is few or no sites like this on the internet at the moment.

Basically this site allows you to search for all sorts of media.

1. Text search
2. Image Search
3. Video search

Each section searches from between 3 to 5 sources and displays the results in a unique way using all the latest technologies such as AJAX and ASP.NET.
Each of the boxes you see on the page can be rearranged around the page, minimized and removed or added.

This site has a huge potential and appeal as it saves a user from having to search all the search sources individually.
This site is also open for expansion as new search modules could be developed and added to the search result options.
I also have quite a few ideas of how this site could be expanded and improved over time.

The reason why i am selling it as it is, is that i do not have the time to market it and continue the expansion of the site, but as it is, it is a fantastic opportunity for someone to get their hands on a unique site that could easily rake in alot of users.

As i said no marketing has been done one this site, it is brand new. But i would say that a few articles on Digg and other such sites and maybe a press release would be enough to get the hype going about this site.

I will also give the winning bidder the contact details of the developers who created the site for me, so they can make any code changes or develop additional modules for the website, this will be of course at a cost which they will set, but they are very reasonable.

There is also a Admin area on the website that lets you check the most popular searches and other search statistics which could be useful for advertising.
Users can also register and view all their personal search history, once they have registered and logged in.

As you will notice on the website there are some HTML design bugs which i will fix over the next few days, these are just simple minor issues. Other wise the site is ready to go.

How much is hosting for it?

 

Currently im hosting it on my dedicated server with a few other sites.
But you could easily host it on some Shared Windows hosting for quite cheap.

You could host it here for about $20 per month and as traffic increases just upgrade.
