Nice way to toss HTML semantics out the window, but that's just me. I'd personally use empty SPANs instead of those B elements, but that's just me.

And besides, this has been done before. :)

I don't see a problem with the bold tags per se, they're empty sandbags so what tag you use really doesn't matter... the bold tag saves bandwidth and can be styled, so good enough... or at least would save bandwidth if the nested ones didn't have classes on them. (and frankly, they don't NEED classes on them)

    You mean like this:
    http://battletech.hopto.org/html_tutorials/rounded_css_borders/index.html

    Especially the second page:
    http://battletech.hopto.org/html_tutorials/rounded_css_borders/more_styles.html

@vikramsohal - as you can see from those two pages, those inner classes aren't needed making it MUCH smaller in the HTML - where it counts ;)

Yours came later than the ones I was thinking of, but yes Jason, those would count too.

Well, I believe mine links to at least one of those ;)

    http://www.html.it/articoli/nifty/index.html

Which is a contemporary of my original using spans - though my original also didn't waste classes like that.
