One of the recent Google updates is, Google is looking for each web pages separately for indexing purpose rather than the whole website. and one more update is your website must be mobile friendly
other than this, there are no new recent updates from Google

If your website is new and you are working on SEO then this is normal..Google will be searching for the best position where your website fits. and also google refreshes its algorithm on regular basis so it might also be the reason.
