current CPU usage shows mysql 177 - is this %

    hi, my server is jammed and takes minutes to load simple pages, can you please take a look ath the following image

    its show under "CPU %" for mysql 177, does that mean mysql is using 177% of resources of cpu ?

    I am using WHM and I clicked on

    Main >> Server Status >> CPU/Memory/MySQL Usage

    below is the screenshot you can see of cpu / memory and mysql usage..

    The percentages in *NIX are per processor. So, a 8 processor or core system can get upto 800% usage.

    To resolve your issue the first thing I would do is to restart mysql. This should get your server into a manageable state. Then I would suggest taking a look at your logs and figuring out what is causing the mysql to lock up. Odds are the server is not properly configured for your hardware which is causing the problem.
