cURL Centos

    Have you tried running (as root), 'yum install curl' ... this should install curl from the yum repository.

    curl-7.12.1-11.el4.i386.rpm -- is the current version for CentOS 4..

    You could also download it directly from a CentOS mirror such as: http://dds.gina.alaska.edu/public/mirrors/centos/4.5/os/i386/CentOS/RPMS/curl-7.12.1-11.el4.i386.rpm

    Also, you can compile latest from the sources too...it's real easy if steps are followed well.
