Not that I intend to do it, I'm just surprised that there are literally no evidence of people doing it so far in google searches. I thought it was perhaps google vigorously pruning potential posts and tutorials on how to do it but even bing refused to show how. (I havent been on bing in a long time, and was also surprised at how similar it is to google now. What am I talking about? Simply simulating a mouseclick via jQuery on a google ad. Javascript these days can be very very transparent, with further development into the field of ajax. Once I learnt it was possible to virtualize and simulate mouse actions with a script, naturally, I wondered how far can it be taken. Specifically in terms of earning a revenue. Consider the following, You create an empty div, and place the google ad on the same page. Now a unique visitor enters, unknowingly and transparently, the malicious script activates and creates a 0px iframe within the page containing the ad and simulates a click. Since this is done entirely on the client side, the ip being used will always be the user's and never the servers. The response is kept within the iframe so the user has no idea he is loading a completely different page directly inside the page he is at. In fact, if this works you can get a 100% click per visit ratio. (which is suspicious as well, so you can append a function to randomize the activating of the script, maybe a 1 in 5 chance of the script actually and fully firing. ) So let me know what do you guys think, It's so suspicious that it exists absolutely no where on the web.
Absolutely ridiculous, do you think Google are stupid?, your Adsense account will be banned before you know it.
Thanks for being such an adult about a serious discussion. Nice to know the human race includes mature folk who can actually contribute something constructive.
You don't think it hasn't been tried a million times before? Did you search this forum for people claiming to have done it and followed through on their experiences. So far the only adsense click scam I've seen that looks like it would work is the one out of HP Mumbai. Even then, it's manual clicks not scripted.
Serious discussion, get real. You asked what people think, I told you what I thought of your stupid idea, why don't you try it and see what happens?
Such an intelligent response! He didn't say he was going to do this; he simply brainstormed an idea how it might work (he was being creative, a good thing) and asked for feedback.
Hi gibigbig, I think that even if Google does not detect the malicious javascript, the lack of conversion from your traffic will have you banned before your first quarter is over. When hundreds of clicks do not register a single sale, it will set of red flags that your traffic may be tampered.
Do you actually have a view on his idea, or are you just pointlessly trolling again? He asked what people thought of something completely ridiculous, I told him what I thought, which is pretty much the same as what everyone who has a modicum of intelligence would think.
He actually asked, in a public forum, if we thought he'd be able to steal from people using a technique. Somehow I think even the most stupid pickpocket knows not to ask for tips in front of the cops.
I know. I was really just messing with @malky66. He quoted me in another post and changed my name to Ronald MacDonald, so I was just returning the favor by quoting him as "Milkball66". As for the question, I'd have to agree it is a stupid idea...
