I have new campaign that I recently started. At first my quality was so poor that my ads were not showing for search, but I made a profit with content only... I then group my keywords correctly. I have high quality scores for all keywords (7/10 and above)...funny thing is...I am now getting less sales even though I generating more clicks. Can anyone give me an idea of what I am doing wrong?
Hard to tell with that little information, but in general it could be 3 things: 1. Incomplete list of negative keywords. If you are selling blue widgets only, you should have red, yellow, brown and green on your blacklist. If you are selling fruits, you don't want people looking for fruit juice or fruit bars to click your ad. You get the idea. 2. Your ads. Again, if it's blue widgets, but the ad only says widgets, people may simply expect something you don't offer. The more precise the ad, the better. It may lower your CTR a bit, but you get rid of the unproductive clicks. 3. Your landing page. You need good content on your landing page, but it shouldn't be the next wikepedia. Keep it straight and targetted, without too many options to choose from.
