I'm always really curious about this but had never received a sastifying answer. As we know, colleges should not have as tight a security as the banks. This is quite obvious, since the banks protected things that are more important. However, why is it that there seems to be more successful bank heist than college hackng? True, the bank contains more incentives, but colleges contain a lot of incentives as well. There are few news on college hacking, and, if there were news, it would be the one about the students getting caught. On the other hand, someone has told me that there were 3 successful heists in the past 6 months (that has been reported). This makes no sense. Is it that the college securities are higher than what I have thought? So, the security that protects some random students' grades are more advanced than the ones that are supposed to protect my money/investments? Finally, someone told me that the existence of an uber hacker who can change grades without being detected or caught later on is a myth; there might be one or two that can do so, but these hackers virtually do not exist. Does this mean that hackers of the present aren't really skillful?
every one hacks into college stuff its only unheard of because once you have done it you move on you dont do anything with the data that would be wrong. Its like you sit with a few mates and have a drink then for some fun you see if you can hack into the college you do it, you drink your beer and thats the end of it. Every one knows how a bank works not every one knows how your college sets things up. Some places in england even show you how to hack into the college systems so you can make it better you then write a paper on how you did it and what you changed.
Its nothing man ... I don't like hacking or everything about hack... important is to know the ways to protect from phishies and hacks....
