    Cuil is an epic failure. It gets terrible traffic, and their search metrics make absolutely no sense.

    Yea i agree with you guys :)

    But just gave this to all those who dont know about it.I searched praat33k on cuil and founf useless results and just search the term on google you'll get better results :)

    Cuil is simply a wasted project. i dont know if people uses cuil. I wanted to try it out, tried it out but did not get relevant results so i switched. Besides I have been so used to google interface that cuil interface sucks big time for me

    Cuil is not doing good, it is one of the fail product.

    Cuil sucks. What ever was the point of developing another search engine? I thought of it once, but I have some much nicer ideas of what a modern search engine should do. They basically re-designed the wheel, nothing more than that. If they want to be successful, they gotta do a bit more than try to reinvent the wheel, they need a bigger purpose than just a search.

    Take Wolfram/Alpha for example. It's not your basic search, it's a computational search, and a fairly smart one at that. They will probably find good success, unlike Cuil.

    Cuil shows absolutely irrelevant results, and their 120 billion database is already outdated:D, as I remember someone from Google (Matt Cutts I think?) saying they have over 1 trillion indexed pages (including flash, pdf's, etc...):eek:

    Why would anyone even think about trying to beat Google?

    Even if you could, Google will eventually buy you out if you get big. lol

    The only visitors Cuil gets i reckon are just curious webmasters. :p
