    Does anyone have any experience with Cuil. I have heard that the owners of this are former Google employees?

    Cuil;

    Hmm .. let's see now .. Twicler (the Cuil Bot) just joined the ranks of Google, MSN, and Yahoo, in my robots.txt generator tool when I rewrote it a while back.

    Their index is sorely out of date .. listing sites that I let go well over a year ago. Their bot, on the other hand, is outpacing MSNBot 10 to 1 in parsing though .. might be a good sign.

    Search results aren't exactly the best either.

    No, not from this SE. However, visitors from other SEs are increasing now.

    I have a lot of large and small traffic sites and I very seldom (maybe once) have seen any traffic from Cuil.

    Nope, I'm first result for my targeted keywords on Cuil but not one visitor. With Google, I'm fourth with that keyword and I get at least 40 visitors a day from it.

    Cuil is a bandwidth hog and I blocked the crawler's IP address because it was sucking up bandwidth like crazy.

    No traffic to any of my sites from Cuil yet. I wonder what the daily search volume is on Cuil.

    No even 1 visitor a month. Alexa is more popular and the amount of traffic that I am getting from Alexas is very minimum.
