So I started a download site about 4 days ago and the CTR is freaking 16.90% which is the highest for any of my sites. I don't think there is any foul play as I just checked the traffic logs & all the traffic is showing up from where they ought to, it is targetted. Still, I'm having an uneasy feeling about this. Any suggestions? Should I use a click tracker? What would you do?

I'll add that the ad placement is brilliant, a half banner below the download links.

dont worry about it. my old site fluctuated between 15-40% CTR, and some days was actually over 100%. if its on the same account as your other sites, you can just drop G an email letting them know, and even asking them if they noticed any discrepencies in your traffic/clicks. they will most likely say no, and thank you for reporting it. good luck.
