    Hi yall,

well im here to ask you about a doubt that i have. I have a website where i putted adsense in ... only two boxes (big ones - one above the other - and above the content ) ... and my CTR is quite big i think : yesterday +- 16%.

Will google ... dislike me? or even ban me?

PS: yes i have content, no its not an adult website, no i dont think i am violating TOS.

It should be ok for a high CTR. But how come you get a 16%? Maybe your competitor clicked it?
I wish my site have a 1% CTR:)

no i just have two big boxes ( 336 x 280) over the content.

but hey here is the website: best-myspace-layouts.com

and my home page does not have any images besides my logo. just text. i guesse the blending is "good".

16% isn't bad. I've experienced higher CTR's in the past and I've thought about mailing Google. You should be alright though.

I dont thinks o you are in danger of getting banmned. You have placed the ads well and they are blended to the site!! 16% though is high well done!!

Your CTR shouldn't be an issue unless your website is clearly MFA. By MFA, I mean that it has no other content that advertisements.

What you should be worrying about is preventing and reporting fraudulent clicks!

I think 16% is nice and could be considered low in some contexts.

I was just wondering what mine was, so I went to check. It is at an average of 1.84%, then I looked at today's, 24%. I've had 131 impressions and have already made $2.00. I've never even paid attention to CTR before, and now that I found this thread, it just so happens to be super high.

you need to wait and analyse the number of clicks and number of impressions. I had the same problem in the past like 120 clicks against 200 impressions on a day. I monitored few days and reported google about that.

It's possible and nothing really to worry about on low number of impressions.

It is impossible to have a CTR greater than 100. A 100% CTR would mean every single ad you serve gets clicked. If that isn't a MFA site I don't know what is ;)

Technically, it's possible but it probably wouldn't be valid.

In a normal environment, how would this be possible? You cannot click an ad that doesn't have an impression and that is what would be required to have a CTR greater than 100.

CTR over 100% is deifintly possible - i have a few - even though low traffic which often hit 500% - but generally average at 60% ish

That layout above is working well in my opinion as the content below it looks "empty" when scrolling quickly - making the ads appear to be the best resource.

    Good luck anyway
