CTR Under 1 Percent

My CTR is really low. I haven't had a click in the past week even, and my traffic has been increasing a little bit. I would really appreciate it if you guys could check my placement on these two sites and tell me what I'm doing wrong.

There's no way to tell if you don't share your page impressions for that amount of time as well.

 

Just checked and I understand now why WebElites hasn't had clicks as it hasn't had many impressions.

WengerEnterprises has a little over 100 impressions for the past week. Hey I know it isn't much, but still I have under 50 clicks for over 6k impressions total.

 

468x60 are one of the worst performing ads, try replacing with something rectangular such as 250x250 or 300x250.

Yeah, thats right... smaller ad units works better also try to have link ad units along with your regular ads on your site.

Oh oops, that's the old heat map,
based on testing, it's better to use just 1 250x250,300x250,336x280 on top of your content, otherwise you will saturate your CPC, use this anyways:

Well it seems that the traffic you are getting is pretty low. You can't expect much from that. Check also on your source of traffic, sometimes it's not the placement that is the culprit. Those coming from search is of course the best.

 

try to change the 480x60 standard banner to 250x250. Add a skyscrapper on your side bar.

Of course, you need to add more content and get more traffic also

 

Most of my traffic is organic.

I do understand that I need more traffic.

Good news though, I've already gotten a click on the top left ad without that many impressions.

 

You can go 500 page impressions without a click. If you average your last 5000 page impressions, that may be more of an accurate representation.
