Hello all, I was wondering if I use CTR theme, will I be penalized by google soon or later. My site is currently on page 2 top spot, and it will soon be on page one soon, so if I decide to sell the site, how much will be worth? Thanks for your reply.

There is a high possibility since I heard a lot of people having problem with CTR theme. You better not use it.
As I know CTR themes are designed to display your ads on the way, on which people could easily can see your ads on your website and their first look come on your ads... It is a kind of trick how to display of your adsense. if your website have sufficient Fresh content with quality information and keywords. then it must make money for your. CTR themes will not be success and be panilized only when there is any black hat coding or any illegal software or script is used and not to serve your website according to Google guideline. Be confirm all of these about your CTR theme and then enjoy with your CTR theme. Best of luck
I think it's clear that google search team have said that they penalized ad heavy sites, but that doesn't mean anything.
You don't have to worry about being penalized by Google for using CTR themes. I have been using "adsense pro ultimate" on most of my sites for over a year now and I have never received any penalty what so ever, despite that CTR on some of my sites is over 7%!!
well if you are looking to sell the site it depends on many factors, most importantly its earnings! But if you really want to increase earnings to your site i'd also recommend you to use ctr themes, especially "adsense pro ultimate". i have used it on my adsense sites and my ctr is now over 7%...and so i make a good living out of it...
You could have several sites using the same theme and google won't penalize you (unless you break their TOS by placing images next to your ads and stuff like that) .. what matters here is how good your content is, bounce rate and user experience.
