I am getting approx 50 visitors daily and getting 100 to 150 page impressions CTR should be how much?
Awesome for example a web proxy website, really bad for a niche site with targeted traffic like SuitcasesWithWheels.com or RedHandbagsForSale.com or whatever
Anyways, point is if all your visitors are looking for the same thing, it is easy for AdSense to serve them ads they are really interested in, and that makes CTR high. Assuming this is not some tiny niche there are no ads for.
We would not know your CTR if you have only AdSense account. You have to check also where your visitors come from. Those direct traffics will not calculated in CTR.
We cannot tell you the appropriate CTR if we only know the number of visits. We need to know where visitors come from etc. P.S. ExaMike, Congratulations on your 1000th post
Although you have been ripped a bit in this thread, I thought I would say my bit... The reason people are so rude to you, is that your click thru rate depends on many, many things. So much so, that there are whole books on the subject! SO coming along and asking a generic question, that there is NO REAL ANSWER TO (due to the variables mentioned below, and many, many more), makes people not want to help. You have to consider: * Is your website in a tight niche? The more relevant your content is to your ads, the higher your click through rate should be. If a single page is about lots of subjects, how does adsense know what ads to server? * Different niches will also tend to have different click through rates too... eg. More tech savvy niches, where people know the internet really well, may have a lower click through rate, as people recognise adsense ads straight away. More 'information hungry' niches may have a higher click through rate. * How good is your layout? - Ad placement is key here - don't ask for the 'best' ad placement, because that also depends on your website - Google it. In fact, even big G gives some advice on this, and there are lots and lots of ebooks, blogs and forum posts written on this subject already! Google something like: adsense placement for forums, or adsense placement for blogs (depending on what your website is, of course!). * Are your ads blended? - Many people think blending the colours of your ads to match your site is good, to avoid 'ad blindness' BUT others say they should standout... Personally? I like image ads in the sidebar that standout, and blended text ads in the content. * Where does your traffic come from? Is it quality, organic traffic, that is very closely related to your niche? Consider the above points, do your research, test some changes, and then... only THEN, ask some more questions (do the research FIRST!) - After your research, and tests, come back and share with us what you tried, what didn't work, and what did - and ask some SPECIFIC questions that may have arisen from this work - you will get a lot more respect, and a LOT more help by doing this Oh, and be careful discussing certain elements of your adsense account - Check Google's terms and conditions Good Luck! AND THE BEST ANSWER FOR THE THREAD GOES TO:: what should be CTR site:digitalpoint.com copy paste the above statement in google search! I won!
Well, CTR Means the Percent Ratio of How many of the visitors clicks to the Ads of the total visitor came. (Its for the 1 day or 24 hours after that it changes). So, I think its good to have CTR like 1% to 3%. If your blog or site is not having high traffic. As remember, High CTR makes the Google sometime to think that Invalid Activity is going on or they may ban your Adsense Account for the Invalid Clicks reason. So Play safe as you are a newbie, I would like to advice you just go with the flow but track your Adsense daily and don't force anyone to click. Thanks.. Happy Friendism!
