CTR on sites targeting Adsense publishers

I know, there are many existing threads at DP in which you have been asked if, as an Adsense publisher, you click on Adsense ads on other sites. But I still need to ask a more direct question.

I am working on starting up a new site that targets Adsense publishers (mostly newbies). IMO, it will be a valuable resource site that will (hopefully) get some decent traffic. My question is - Given that my target market is Adsense publishers, should I expect a considerably lower CTR? It has been argued that building a site that caters to "non-techy" "non-Internet-savvy" markets will yield a higher CTR since they don't necessarily recognize Adsense ads and simply click on them if they are interested in them, whereas more savvy visitors tend to be "Adsense-Ad-Blind".

Not unlike discussion forums where CTR on Adsense ads is predictably low, should I expect the same results?

Its true that sites for non-techie poeple will earn better CTR. But most of these guys looking for adsense tips are not really technical guys:) Most are noobs trying to make a fortune overnight.

My guess, ads should work well on those site. I am getting pretty high CTR on pages with adsense related content.

Cool. Thanks, alemcherry. Glad to hear an adsense related content site is getting good returns. This is the type of feedback I'm looking for.

My non technical sites make far more money than my technical sites on half the traffic. Computer Savvy people are far more likely to be either ad blind or ad blockers
