Hei guys what is good ctr for forums? I hear forums have a little lower ctr then blogs and another sites, is that truth ?

My ctr is about 0.20% and click's are wroth about 10c, what do you think about that?

I think that is very low for a forum too !

Try to get some SE traffic to your forum . This will help in increasing CTR :)

Yes. Forums tend to have a slightly lower CTR than some other types of sites, (eg. Blogs).

But 0.2% is still low (even on a Forum).
Mine ranges from 0.5% to 1% on some very good days.

Placing ads on a forum is a great science ... the thing is not to annoy people with them but also make them visible ... from my experience footer banners work the best headers second and inline third.

forums usually get lower CTR than sites and blogs. to get more clicks, you need good content rich threads and lots of visitors as well as good ad placement
