I put adsense on one of my site today

    site url : loltime

i am getting a click through rate above 10% (cannot mention exact as its against TOS)

40 clicks and just made 2.34$

    95% traffic from US

Note: I never asked anyone to click ads

    My questions :-

1: will my account be disabled for high click through rate??

2: In 40 clicks atleast 35 may be US clicks ..why is it 2.34$ for 35 US clicks. i feel it should be far high

3: Should i mail google regarding click through rate?

You may want to read over the AdSense TOS again which states you may not disclose your CTR or click count to the public.

A high click thru rate tends to indicate people are looking to get away from your site. The easiest way out you provide is the ads.

    1. You have a broken link in your footer - the "home" one.
    2. You should add more content!!!
    3. Ive seen a similar video to that before - I thought it was the same one but this time the computer attacked the guy!!! :D Very unexpected!

Did you start the site today? If not then you could have an archive of all your past videos...

Still you should come up with a way to add more content to your site. Since its humor orientated you could add a jokes section or something similar. Or maybe allow visitors to post their own jokes?

Theyre just some quick ideas but Im sure you can come up with better ones :)

There are plenty of humor articles and content floating around the internet. Just find some that matches your site ;)

1: If your clicks are legit, G will not disable your account. I've consistently scored ctr's that are double and triple your rates since I started with AdSense 9 months ago and I've never had a problem because I do not click my own ads and I don't ask others to do so. All my clicks are legitimate and Google is able to tell they are legitimate.

    2: Can't answer that one.

3: It never hurts to mail Google when you're not sure about something. I once had a multi-hundred ctr and emailed Google right away. They thanked me and told me they would monitor my account activity. Nothing came of it. [BTW, the reason for the enormous ctr was that a visitor looked at several of my ads shortly after a new "stats day" started, thus skyrocketing the numbers. The ctr leveled off to my normal rate after a few hours passed.]

I don't think anyone can answer that question. It all depends on how competitive your keywords are and how much an advertiser has to pay to get his ad on your page. Heck, I had 1 click this morning that only paid $.01.

But if you have a high ctr and can pull a lot of traffic, you can still make good money even with low-paying clicks. Of course we're all looking for the triple play (high ctr, lots of traffic, high paying clicks). When you find that golden egg, you've got it made :)

You may have problems because your site kind of lacks contents...it's just a video and the logo on the whole page.

Nothing wrong with high CTRs, with certain well designed (some may argue otherwise ;)) sites, you can get CTRs of up to 30-40% depending on how you funnel your traffic.
