Whats going on with adsense today?

My CTR is currently 113% ??

I have never gotten so many clicks and the CPC is only $0.05 cents and I usually average 0.34 cents cpc.

    Anyone else have this problem?

Everything is fine for me , and maybe the $0.05 cents is perfectly normal depends on the niche. I have games related website and gettin $0.01 per clic. Cheers.

I never get a higher CTR than 15% and now its 113% so there is an error somewhere.

That or somebody is fucking with me and sending fake hits to my ads. :(

It all depends if your site is well visited or not. If you have large website, than this is impossible. But, if you are running a new website, with only few daily visitors, than this could happen, all you need is a few curious visitors, and thats it.

    Cheers

Just contact them and tell them that you suspect something might be wrong.

I still dont understand because I have it setup so that only one IP can see my ads once every 24hrs so that people cant do this to me.

After every 24hrs my IP db will flush itself.

Check your tracking, you may have got a hot one from a search engine. I once let my adsense sites go for about 9 months, absolutely ignore them! When I checked my adsense account it said I had $240+ waiting to be paid!!

Well, upon analysis, it seemed that Yahoo, about 4 months previously, had heavily spidered one of my sites and generated a huge amount of traffic. It only lasted for that month, but it was enough.

Maybe that is what you are seeing. Anyhoo, grats and good luck!

Congrats my ass. lol. This is not a good thing.

I am not getting paid anything from these clicks. It's just watering down what I made previously.

The only explination is somebody is sending fake clicks with a very good db of proxies.

Hypothetically, if you have 4 impressions and 5 clicks then I would not worry. On the other hand, for example, if you have 100 impressions and 113 clicks you should contact Google and let them know what's going on.

Really surprising to see 237% CTR, some one is surely clicking on ur ads. Do mail to Google team and ask them.

    I got 1,109 impressions and 2,521 clicks with a CTR of 227.32%.

I removed my ads and I am going to send google an email. It's impossible to know witch IP clicked bombed me. Only google can see those stats correct?

Your server logs may reveal more information on the ip side of things. For future ref: You may also want to install a tracking script to monitor in case of further occurences.

Contact Google, tell them what you are seeing and advise them that if they require any further information from your host you'll be happy to give them any data from your logs to assist.

Well if one person came to my site and clicked 2,000 times, how would that be obvious in my server logs?

If they have a static ip address, they are clicking and going back to the page, so you'll see high activity from that ip. The main thing is you let Google know.
